Maurice Li is a commercial, documentary, fine art & experiential journalism photographer with a passion for visual storytelling. Whether shooting a street photo essay in Hong Kong, an ad campaign in Vancouver’s Gastown or a real-time social media campaign while traveling across Canada with Royalty, his aim is to capture truly remarkable images.
Maurice has photographed for clients such as the Canadian Tourism Commission, Museum of Vancouver, Granville Entertainment Group and Audi Canada. His work has appeared in The Boston Globe’s Big Picture, Booooooom!, The Georgia Straight, The Huffington Post, The Province newspaper, Ricepaper Magazine and Vancouver is Awesome, among other publications. Maurice has also shot notable events such as TEDx Vancouver and the Red Cross Red Carpet Soiree.
In addition to creative photography, Maurice has an in-depth understanding of social media and how it can be leveraged to help clients garner more exposure for their marketing initiatives. He also has the proven ability to generate well-crafted written & photographic content for social media & blog campaigns.
Maurice is based in Vancouver, Canada but welcomes photography assignments requiring international travel.
